The Vivo X300 series — already featuring the X300 and X300 Pro — may soon get a new member that could raise the bar for mobile photography. Reports suggest that Vivo is preparing to introduce the Vivo X300 Ultra, a high-end flagship rumored to bring the first-ever dual 200MP camera system to the smartphone industry.
According to frequent leaker Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Ultra model will feature a triple-camera array, all using larger and upgraded sensors. Two of those are expected to be 200MP lenses, making it the first smartphone globally to adopt such a configuration. The main sensor is said to come with a 35mm focal length, a setup aimed at delivering sharper portraits, better street shots, and improved overall versatility.
For context, Vivo’s previous flagship — the X200 Ultra — included a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP telephoto lens supporting 100x digital zoom. If the new model follows this trend, the X300 Ultra could feature a 200MP main sensor alongside another 200MP telephoto unit, positioning it as one of the most advanced imaging systems ever built into a phone.
Beyond the optics, leaks also outline a few key specifications. The Vivo X300 Ultra is tipped to sport a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution, likely powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The device is expected to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, offering the latest software experience right out of the box.
While Vivo has so far kept its Ultra models exclusive to China, signs of a wider release are emerging. A device carrying the model number V2562, believed to be the global variant of the X300 Ultra, was recently spotted in the IMEI database. That hints at a potential international debut, possibly after its expected Q2 2026 launch in China.
Pricing remains uncertain, but if the X300 Ultra surpasses its predecessor’s tag of ₹94,999, it could comfortably cross the Rs 1 lakh threshold. For photography enthusiasts or users who rely on professional-grade imaging, this device could mark a new benchmark in mobile technology.
If these early details hold true, the Vivo X300 Ultra may not just compete—it could redefine what smartphone cameras are capable of.
